The amfAR Cannes 2025 Gala was held on Thursday May 22, 2025 at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes, on the bangs of the Cannes Film Festival. This iconic charity event, organized by the amfAR Foundation for AIDS research, brought together celebrities from around the world for an evening of glamour, music and philanthropy.

The Monegasque team from MATHEZ ART LOGISTICS is traditionally entrusted with the logistics of importing, delivering, unpacking, installing and presenting the works on stage. And a customs challenge equal to the notoriety of the event, taken up by our technicians .

Amfar 2025

Hosted by Taraji P. Henson, the evening featured performances by Ciara, Adam Lambert and Duran Duran. Guests included Heidi Klum, Lauren Sánchez, Jeff Bezos, Adrien Brody, Spike Lee… A fashion show orchestrated by Carine Roitfeld and a prestige auction raised $17 million for AIDS research.

Among the artists whose works were exhibited and sold at auction: George Condo with Smiling Goddess for 1.15 million euros, Adrien Brody, James Franco, Chris Levine, Julian Lennon, Alexandre Diop, Chris Succo, George Hoyningen-Huene .

MATHEZ MONACO ART LOGISTICS was responsible for importing the works from various countries, delivering and installing them in the gardens of the Hotel du Cap Eden Roc, andpresenting them on stage for the evening gala auction.

Amfar 2024

The amfAR Cannes 2024 Gala was held on May 23 at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc, marking its 30th edition. Hosted by Demi Moore, the evening featured performances by Cher, Nick Jonas and Jess Glynne. Thanks to an exceptional auction, the event raised $16 million for HIV/AIDS research.

  • Artists on show: Alexander Calder, Damien Hirst, Chris Levine, Michael Kagan, Bertrand Lavier, Doug Aitken, Mert & Marcus, Jason Mason, Andy Warhol.
  • Most expensive work: Elizabeth Taylor (1964) by Andy Warhol, sold for €350,000.

Amfar 2023

The amfAR 2023 Gala was held on May 25 at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc, with Queen Latifah as Mistress of Ceremonies. Performances by Halsey, Gladys Knight and Bebe Rexha enlivened the evening. Over 17 million dollars were raised for the fight against HIV, in the presence of stars such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Eva Longoria and Heidi Klum.

    Vogue
  • Most expensive work: A portrait of Leonardo DiCaprio by Damien Hirst, sold for 1.2 million euros.
