transport maritime de conteneurs<\/b> au monde. La crise du Coronavirus, qui a d\u00e9marr\u00e9 \u00e0 Wuhan au tournant de l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2019\/2020, affecte\u00a0 naturellement les approvisionnements de l&rsquo;ensemble de l&rsquo;\u00e9conomie mondiale, et en particulier le transport maritime vers l\u2019Europe. <b>Le point sur la situation et les m\u00e9canismes \u00e0 l\u2019\u0153uvre<\/b>, d\u00e9but mars, et quelques conseils de transitaire aux entreprises expos\u00e9es.<\/p><h2>Les approvisionnements en question<\/h2><p>Les <b>approvisionnements des entreprises<\/b> depuis la Chine sont, depuis un mois, extr\u00eamement\u00a0 perturb\u00e9s:<\/p><ul><li>Les <b>mesures de quarantaine<\/b> prises par le gouvernement chinois en f\u00e9vrier\u00a0et les <b>interruptions de travail dans les usines <\/b>chinoises ont prolong\u00e9 et aggrav\u00e9 les absences suivant traditionnellement le <b>nouvel an chinois<\/b>, le 25 janvier. En quelques semaines, \u00ab\u00a0l&rsquo;usine du monde\u00a0\u00bb s&rsquo;est retrouv\u00e9e quasiment \u00e0 l&rsquo;arr\u00eat. Les statistiques le refl\u00e8tent: la Chine a vu ses exportations chuter de 17,2% sur un an sur les deux mois cumul\u00e9s de janvier-f\u00e9vrier, tandis que ses importations sont en l\u00e9ger repli (4%).\u00a0<\/li><li>Compte-tenu des <b>restrictions de circulation<\/b> dans le pays, les marchandises n\u2019ont pu \u00eatre <b>transport\u00e9es jusqu\u2019aux zones portuaires<\/b>, et les navires partent de Chine avec un <b>taux de remplissage de 10 \u00e0 30%<\/b>, quand ils partent (cf ci-dessous).<\/li><li>Les <b>flux e-commerce<\/b> sont aussi touch\u00e9s par la suspension des imports de certains op\u00e9rateurs, comme La Poste.<\/li><\/ul><div><p>Les entreprises europ\u00e9ennes qui exportent en Chine ont d&rsquo;abord du faire face \u00e0 un\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">choc de la demande<\/span>, sensible en France dans les domaines du <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mathezfreight.com\/fr\/solutions\/prestige\/\">luxe<\/a>, des <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mathezfreight.com\/fr\/solutions\/transport\/vin\/\">vins et spiritueux<\/a> notamment.\u00a0<\/p><p>C&rsquo;est maintenant l&rsquo;offre qui est impact\u00e9e par la\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">rupture des cha\u00eenes d&rsquo;approvisionnements<\/span>\u00a0\u00e0 l&rsquo;importation. M\u00eame si, depuis quelques ann\u00e9es,\u00a0les entreprises ont cherch\u00e9 \u00e0 diversifier leurs approvisionnements, rares sont les industries qui ne sourcent pas au moins un composant en Chine. D\u00e9but mars cependant, CMA CGM, 4e armateur au monde, annon\u00e7ait pr\u00e9voir de remplir \u00e0 nouveau la totalit\u00e9 de sa flotte au d\u00e9part de Chine fin mars, tout en restant vigilant sur les cons\u00e9quences de l&rsquo;\u00e9volution de l&rsquo;\u00e9pid\u00e9mie de Covid-19 en Europe.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Au cours des quatre derni\u00e8res semaines, le <b>trafic de container<\/b> en partance de Chine a recul\u00e9 de pr\u00e8s de moiti\u00e9 selon al Commission europ\u00e9enne. Selon l&rsquo;International chamber of shipping, le coronavirus a retir\u00e9 du march\u00e9 plus de 350.000 containers.\u00a0La situation est particuli\u00e8rement sensible pour les <b>conteneurs <i>reefer<\/i><\/b>, affectant par exemple les exp\u00e9ditions de fruits d&rsquo;Am\u00e9rique latine vers l&rsquo;Europe.\u00a0<\/li><li>Dans un premier temps, l&rsquo;arr\u00eat des usines chinoises s&rsquo;\u00e9tait r\u00e9percut\u00e9e sur les imports de minerais, de m\u00e9taux, de charbon, accentuant la baisse saisonni\u00e8re pour faire plonger les\u00a0indices de<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"> co\u00fbt des transports maritimes<\/span>.\u00a0On s&rsquo;attend \u00e0 ce que les prix remontent en fl\u00e8che une fois que la production sera revenue \u00e0 des niveaux proches de la normale, afin de rattraper le retard accumul\u00e9. Les compagnies annoncent des PSS (\u00ab\u00a0<em><strong>Peak Season Surcharge<\/strong><\/em>\u00ab\u00a0) et\/ou GRI (\u00ab\u00a0<strong><em>General Rate Increase<\/em><\/strong>\u00ab\u00a0) importantes.<\/li><\/ul><p>En cons\u00e9quence, les chargeurs doivent anticiper des <b>d\u00e9lais accrus<\/b>, et vraisemblablement des <b>hausses tarifaires<\/b>.<\/p><h2>Quelles sont les alternatives ?<\/h2><ul><li>Selon les cas, un <b>report sur le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mathezfreight.com\/fr\/services\/fret-aerien\/\">transport a\u00e9rien<\/a><\/b> est possible.\u00a0Les op\u00e9rations a\u00e9riennes avec la Chine \u00e9tant \u00e9galement affect\u00e9es, la situation met cependant une pression sur les tarifs. Au-del\u00e0 des vols cargo, les r\u00e9ductions et annulations des vols passagers ont drastiquement r\u00e9duit la capacit\u00e9 d\u2019emport de fret, car\u00a0une grande partie du fret a\u00e9rien longues distances emprunte les soutes des avions de passagers.\u00a0Les taux de fret a\u00e9rien devraient monter en fl\u00e8che avec la normalisation de la production et des transports a\u00e9riens.\u00a0<br \/>Il est difficile de pr\u00e9voir les cons\u00e9quences \u00e0 moyen terme, mais elles seront lourdes. La crise du coronavirus pourrait co\u00fbter entre 63 et 113 milliards de dollars au secteur en 2020, soit une baisse d&rsquo;activit\u00e9s de 20% du trafic passager, selon l&rsquo;Association internationale du transport a\u00e9rien (IATA).
